FREE exercise program - our gift to you on Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day!

Our dietitians have teamed up with Diabetes Victoria to help get those with Type 2 Diabetes exercising.

As cost can sometimes be a barrier, this whole program is bulk billed so you won’t pay a cent.
Anyone with Type 2 Diabetes is eligible and here is what you receive at no cost:
  • An individual assessment with one of our Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEP’s)
  • 2 months (twice weekly) of fully supervised and instructed group exercise classes with our AEP’s
  • A 6 month complimentary membership with Diabetes Australia – Vic (this membership is only available in Victoria – the rest of the program is still available in all other states)
There is no other program in Australia offering you this much at no cost. So look no further as for diabetes control, this is important for your health.

What does Added Sugar mean?

Most carbohydrate foods include natural sugar from vegetables, legumes, whole grains and dairy products?  Added Sugar refers to the types of sugars that have been added afterwards - not those naturally present in the food.

We have clearly marked the natural sugars and added sugars in each of our carefully designed meals.

Every recipe has been carefully tested by both our team of dietitians and chefs to ensure you receive a nutritionally balanced meal that tastes delicious every single time - with none or minimum of added sugar.

Remote monitoring of diabetes - not so remote

Here's a great article from our own Natalie Wischer.....

'The use of remote monitoring with telehealth will undoubtedly continue to grow if connectivity across all areas of Australia is supported and if costs of the service are contained. If this happens, people living with diabetes and other chronic diseases could be provided with another tool to assist with putting them in control to improve their health outcomes no matter where they live in our vast continent.'

A little rebrand

We've rebranded to Diabetes Meals Online. We've heard it's not politically correct to label people as diabetic and we certainly don't want to offend anybody.

So you can now find us at www.diabetesmealsonline.com.au

It's just a small name change - same delicious menu!
